V1 Bm6th

Up every morning at the crack of dawn – Crawl out of bed and put your slippers on

A cup of coffee should bring you around – Put on your make up its time to play the clown

C Am                                           Em

It’s a livin – It’s a livin – But it’s no life  (X2)

Am                                                        Em

You want to make a difference – You want to make it right

Am                                        Em

They watch that same old movie – each and every night

Am                                           Em

I know you get frustrated – you can’t sleep at night

Am                                         F               G        Am

You can make a difference – Just don’t give up the fight (X2)

V2 Bm6th

I read a book just the other day – said you can live to be old and gray

We bought a new house on the south side of town – Costs a lot of money but don’t you frown

V3 Bm6th

This song could go on for an hour or two – But there’s only one thing I want to say to you

There’s no big secret to livin this life – Just do as you want as long as it’s right

About the Song

I wrote this song one cold winter day when I was home sick from work. Or should I say sick of work!
